CONCISE CURRICULUM VITAE

Irini Tsiaka was born in Kano, Nigeria in 1950, where her family settled due to her father’s profession.

The family returned to Cyprus.  Here  Irini finished the Classic High School for girls in Faneromeni, Cyprus.

 She studied at the School of Architecture of the NTUA (1970-1975) and then obtained an MSc  in Architecture at the University of New Castle on Tyne (1975-1977).

From 1977 to 1999 she practiced freelance profession -building a series of detached houses and arranging interiors of apartments and shops.

Since 1992 she has been establishing a company for the import of innovative architectural building materials, MIPECO  LTD, the use of which allows the modernization of the construction and the architectural coatings of buildings. Until 1999, when she dedicated herself exclusively to the marketing of architectural building materials, she carried out both activities at the same time.

Indeed, Greek architects use them in the Olympic Facilities and then in professional buildings, office buildings, residences, exhibitions, banks, etc. modernizing the appearance of the Greek built environment.
