CONCISE CURRICULUM VITAE

Eleni Tzorgzi – Manoura, was born in Kritsa Lasithiou in 1935. She spent her childhood  in Kritsa and Agios Nikolaos.

She graduated from the School of Architecture of the NTUA in 1959. Her diploma thesis, in 1959, was in collaboration with Eleni Lampropoulou-Rapti, at the chair of P. Michelis and concerned Corfu (the city, its urban planning, its houses).

 

From 1959 to the end of 1960 she served at the Law Engineers Office of Lassithi. From 1961 to 1972 she served in the Directorate of Technical Services of the Prefecture of Heraklion. From the end of 1972 to 1981 she served in the Public Works Inspectorate of Crete and from 1981 to 1992 in the Department of Town Planning and Environment of the Region of Crete as Head.

She left the service in 1992 and since then she has been active in various clubs.

 

 

In 1961, she married Manos Manouras, a doctor-surgeon, she had three children and five grandchildren. In 1979 her husband passed away.
